Ukusi Balkana – Important Information

We ship our products in the United States, including to FPO/APO and PO Box addresses.

We use UPS and USPS. UPS delivers packages Monday to Saturday. Important: UPS does not deliver shipments during the following holidays: January 1st, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. USPS delivers packages Monday to Friday.

When your order is shipped out, you will be sent a tracking number. Unless otherwise indicated, the courier will not ask for the recipient’s signature, and will leave the shipment at the address provided. Packages are shipped on dry ice in order to preserve perishable items, such as dried meat and vacum packed cheese.
If you purchase temperature sensitive products (smoked meat, vacum packed cheese, chocolate products, etc.) we suggest that you choose Next Day Air Delivery. If you select any other type of delivery, you will do so at your own risk – we will not be held responsible if the goods come spoiled or melted.

Table Rate Best Way Shipping is ground delivery and we do not recommend it for temperature sensitive goods, especially during the summer months. During the winter months (November to March), you can safely select ground delivery if your shipping address is within 1 or 2-day delivery zone.


If you wish your order shipped and/or delivered on a specific date, please indicate this at checkout. If we are unable to meet your requirement, you will be notified via email.

During the summer months, products are shipped in insulated refrigeration packages, in order to prevent spoilage of perishable foods, such as meat and dairy products.

The shipping costs are calculated based on package weight and shipping address. The price of the packaging materials may be added to the total shipping cost.



We do not send sensitive foods, such as smoked meat or vacum packed cheese, at the end of the working week, in order to avoid the package spending the weekend at a warehouse.

All orders that are to spend 3 days in transit are shipped out on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Packages are shipped out within 1-5 business days after the order is received, with an additional 1-5 business days during holidays.



We can attach a card with a personalized message or wish to your package.




We ship goods that are sensitive to higher temperature. It is therefore important that someone is present when UPS delivers such a package. We are not responsible for the package after the first unsuccessful delivery attempt. You will receive a tracking number and will be able to estimate the arrival date. If you are not sure that the recipient will be present at the time of delivery, DO NOT order those types of products.

We ship sensitive goods on dry ice, which will preserve them for up to 48 hours (depending on weather conditions), after which they are subject to unfavorable conditions, especially during the summer months. UPS makes deliveries to some states within 1-2 business days, which makes this option acceptable. If you are not located within those states, please select Next Day Air delivery to receive the products in their original condition. If you have more than one shipment, please order your sensitive items separately to reduce shipping costs. Sometimes we will adjust the shipping dates of sensitive goods in order to avoid weekends. Although this may delay the arrival of your order, we are doing it for your own safety. is not liable for the spoilage of sensitive goods under any circumstances, nor for any damage to heat-sensitive products, such as cakes and chocolate.



We guarantee delivery to the address you listed at checkout. If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address, we do not assume liability if you do not receive the package. If the package is delivered to a wrong address provided by the customer, and if the goods have spoiled due to warm weather, we will not send them again.



If the product or some of the products you have ordered is not available at the time of order processing, we will:
1. send you a partial order and refund a part of the payment or
2. replace the products with similar items.



If you order multiple quantities of the same type of unpackaged product, we will send you the combined weight of this product in a single package.

If you want these products packaged separately, please specify at checkout.



We offer custom packaging. Please list the instructions at checkout.



We will not be held liable for the damage of the following items:
1. Chocolate eggs.
2. Haribo gummy candy in plastic boxes.
3. Vacuum sealed coffee.
4. Any product damaged due to cold.
In case you receive a different, defective or damaged product, or if something is missing in your shipment, please inform within 48 hours of receiving the shipment, so we can take the appropriate measures, namely issuing a refund or resending the package.



You can return the products up to 5 days from the time you received your order. We do not accept returns of temperature sensitive goods. You cannot return products whose taste or packaging you don’t like. Opened products cannot be returned. The cost of return shipping will be paid by the buyer, we WILL not reimburse return shipping costs. Returned goods may be subject to a re-stock charge of 5-20% of item price.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will not resend the items to an address different to the one listed in the order. If the package is returned because it could not be delivered for any reason, and the products are not spoiled or damaged, we will refund you for the price of the products; we will not refund the shipping costs, and the returned goods may be subject to a re-stock charge of 5-20% of item price. Important: the returned goods need to physically reach us in order for us to carry out any of the above.
